This kit is cut for one headlight, on three cars. If your car is on this list, it fits. If it isn't, we'll tell you straight rather than take the order.

Convertible, LCI2 headlights
Laser and LED headlights take different boards, and the LCI2 unit isn't obvious from the outside. Send us your car, model and year, plus a photo of the headlight, and we'll tell you which variant to order. Takes us a minute and saves you a return.

Photos flatten colour. This is the kit running on a real F8x, at night and in daylight, so you can judge the yellow for yourself before you buy.
The comparison
The yellow is the whole point. Get it wrong and it reads as an aftermarket kit from thirty metres away - so we match it in daylight, on the car, before anything gets listed.

Choosing your kit
Pick the headlight you have, then decide whether you want the heatsink. That's the whole decision.
Choice one
The two headlight types use different boards. Getting this right is the only part people get wrong, which is why we'll check it for you before you order.
Choice two
The boards on their own are the straight swap. The heatsink version adds a machined backing plate that pulls heat away from the board - worth it if your car sees summer traffic or track days.
Either way
Left and right supplied as a matched pair, plus the install video for your exact car.
Fitting it
This one needs the headlight out to get to the boards. Plenty of owners do it at home with hand tools and a bit of patience. If you'd rather not, we'll do it.
At home
Every kit comes with our install video - filmed on an F8x in our own bay, at normal speed, with the fiddly bits left in. Get stuck halfway and you can message us with a photo.
Or don't
Sydney based? Book it into our workshop and the same people who tested this kit will fit yours. Tell us your car and we'll come back with a price and a day that suits.

Before you buy
HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE LASER OR LED?
You often can't tell by looking. Send us your car, model and year, plus a photo of the headlight, and we'll confirm it before you order - that's the single most common reason these kits get returned, and it takes us a minute to rule out.
CAN I PUT IT BACK TO STOCK?
This is a board swap - your original boards come out and stay with you, so nothing on the car is cut or discarded. Keep them in the box with the paperwork if you're planning to sell the car down the track.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The headlight has to come out to reach the boards, so set aside an afternoon for your first one. The video shows the whole job at real speed so you know what you're in for before you start.
DO I NEED THE HEATSINK VERSION?
Not for normal road use. It's the one to pick if the car sits in summer traffic a lot or sees track days, where pulling heat away from the board earns its money. If you're unsure, ask us what your car's doing and we'll tell you.

30-day returns on unfitted kits in their original packaging. If it arrives damaged, or it doesn't match the fitment we confirmed with you, that's on us - message us and we'll sort it out.
